Black Star Farms "Horai," a semi-dry Riesling that winemaker Lee Lutes says is a variety that grows well in Northern Michigan and whose characteristics reflect the soil in which it is grown. $13.50 ($2 per bottle donated). Gills Pier Winery's Houdek Dunes white. The vintner describes the wine as one that “would make a beautiful aperitif and pairs well with starters such as cheeses or as a desert wine with apple crisp or fruit tarts.” It is made with a blend of Cayuga and Traminette grapes that were all grown in Leelanau. $14.
