Looking for Leelanau Lemmings

Here is a snowy owl picture from near Northport (taken around winter solstice.) It was such an amazing experience to see it hunting over a field, and then see it perched nearby.

NB: Snowy owls, native to Arctic climes, are more numerous in our region this year due to a lack of luscious lemmings further north.
