I love Leelanau because it is one of the most beautiful places in the world - as an infant I camped at Old Settler's picnic grounds, 45 years ago - a place where my parents, grandparents and great grandparents gathered for family picnics. (Picture taken in Burdickville last fall.)

Having not been on a hiatus from the Leelanau for some months I almost forgot the beauty of the winters up here and the difference between the winter and summer sunsets.

Haven't been shooting much lately, but as I came down to fix coffee this morning, I had to grab the camera. This was taken at 6AM June 10th, looking at "Hatlem Valley" with some fog over the valley.
