Speaking of cherry blossoms….this year’s Second Annual Blossom Tour is set for Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 10 am to 2 pm. Save the date and plan to attend. Last year this event was a huge hit. It includes a free bus tour to see the beautiful blossoms and a free cherry brat lunch. More details will be posted soon on our website. This week’s Leelanau Enterprise (our co-sponsor, along with the Leelanau Conservation District) has a story on it and a fun parody of our event compared to the National Cherry Festival held in Washington DC.
