A Lake Michigan Snowfence

By Leelanau Conservancy at 9:50 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Here is the beach where my son was married in the warmth of July, and where the wind and waves are constantly changing the scene. Big sky, big sand, big water are beautiful in every season. It is where I find peace, where my family always find our way to each other, and where I find inspiration as a writer.

Anybody remember summer?

By Leelanau Conservancy at 9:47 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2008

I love having guests when I'm staying in Leelanau. There are so many options for entertaining them and myself! Some like to hike, some like to shop, some want to try a Chubby Mary or taste wine, others enjoy coffee at Barb's. Some want to swim, walk on the docks, or climb a dune, and some want to do it all. When they leave, I take a nap.
