Lake Michigan shore in Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, just north of Little Traverse Lake.  My grandparents build a cottage on Little Traverse Lake in the 1940s and we're now in our 4th generation in Leelanau County.  It's my favorite place in the world.  I'm sure my family has lots of records and photos from Leelanau.

Ah…, a hot sandy path, scratchy grass moving in the breeze, the peek-a-boo view of blue, anticipation and relief at almost being there…someone give me an inner-tube~~~! (This is a warm, fuzzy, familiar scene.)
